About the event

The psychotherapy component of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (PAP or PAT) often seems to exist primarily for safety purposes. However, psychotherapy offers substantial benefits to mental health, both independently and in conjunction with medications. How can psychotherapy be most effectively integrated with psychedelics—especially psilocybin—to maximize patient benefit? What specific questions should we be exploring, to better address patients' needs? This talk will focus on several of the key questions in this area that research has yet to address.
