Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project
The Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project is a non-profit whose mission is to learn more about post-psychedelic difficulties and how people recover from them, communicate their insights to the general public, and support those experiencing those difficulties. They produce ground-breaking peer-reviewed research on post-psychedelic difficulties and what helps people recover, helping fill this critical research gap and collaborating with psychologists and psychiatrists around the world. Their research is presented on their website along with a Short Guide To Coping With Post-Psychedelic Difficulties. They also run a free online peer support group once a month and have an online forum for people to share information to others dealing with similar difficulties.

Fireside Project
Fireside Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing the risks and maximizing the benefits of psychedelic experiences. One of its main services is the Psychedelic Hotline, a free and confidential support line where individuals can talk or text with trained volunteers about both current and past psychedelic experiences. The Hotline is available every day of the year from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. PT by calling or texting 62-FIRESIDE (623-227-4517).
For clients who are looking for more ongoing support, Fireside Project also offers a Fireside-Certified Psychedelic Coaching program. This service provides longer-term preparation and integration support, helping people reflect on their experiences and find ways to incorporate insights into daily life.
Therapists may find this resource helpful to share with clients who want a safe, supportive, and accessible way to process psychedelic experiences outside of therapy sessions.
